Inaugural In-Person PICU-CONNECT Meeting

The inaugural in-person PICU-CONNECT meeting was help in Alicante, Spain on June 25, 2025.

This meeting brought together 22 of our members. The meeting focused on developing plans and forming working groups for completing Action Items 1 through 4 from our Roadmap for Global Pediatric Critical Care Collaborative Research Networks, published in The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health.

Members worked in breakout groups to brainstorm the initial steps and workplan to achieve these Action Items. The nomination process for the first elected PICU-CONNECT Co-Chairs and Vice-Chairs was also initiated as part of this meeting.
